WCO: More than just an Ang Pow

What do most young people look forward to – come Chinese New Year? Aside from the CNY delicacies and fire-crackers, a most common reply would be – ANG POWs (Red Packets with Money)!
But what is the story behind the ANG POW? Why are giving and receiving these auspicious red packets something necessary? Come join us for our Youth Bible Study (WordChillOut) – to discuss, share and learn a bit more about this special practice of blessings!
YOUTH GATHERING / WORDCHILLOUT welcomes all (especially youths – upper primary, secondary, college, university & working adults) – for a time of WORSHIP; meeting up with new & old friends (FELLOWSHIP); and learn more about our Christian/Catholic faith, through THE WORD (FAITH)!
All guests are reminded & encouraged to bring along:
1. a Bible – for easy reference
2. writing materials – to write & take notes
3. (a) friend(s) – to share this experience with!
Fun Dress-Code: CNY festive colors / attire (must be proper & presentable)
